FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Question:   What is LED therapy?
Answer:
LED (Light Emitting Diode) therapy uses a process called photo-
stimulation, which works at the cellular level to decrease pain, increase
circulation and decrease inflammation.  The process utilizes monochromatic
light (light that is one color and one wavelength), which strikes the damaged
tissue and stimulates the bodies own healing process.  First, the cells absorb
the photon energy, which causes increased circulation and oxygen flow while
releasing toxins.  Second, the energy from the lights stimulates the
acupressure points throughout the body, releasing any blockages that may
hinder the healing process.  And finally, the light waves work with the bio-
magnetic energy field, realigning any imbalances that inhibit the body’s ability
to heal.

Question:  Why has my doctor not heard of your products?
Answer:
While the scientific community has studied and used photo-
stimulation for over a hundred years, this is relatively new technology.  As
focus on drug free, alternative therapy gains momentum, for the first time, the
consumer is shaping the future in medicine.

Question:  Are there any harmful side effects?
Answer:
There are no side effects with low level light therapy (photo-
stimulation). This technology is safe because once a cell has been
rejuvenated, the light that penetrates it won't cause damage to the tissues.  It
is not possible to over use or under use the technology.

Question:  How long will the diodes last?
Answer:
The life of the device is indefinite.  The light emitting diodes LEDs
have a minimum life of 1500 hours - or about eight to ten years of average
usage.  The diodes can be replaced after they burn out for a nominal fee, if
they have exceeded their useful life.  We have found that the units that were
purchased in 1995 are still being used on a regular basis and often on issues
that are different that the problem that initially prompted the purchase.  As
people become more familiar with the capability of the devices, they find more
and more uses for them (such as preventive care), in addition to maintenance
of the original issue.

Question:  Why use different colored LEDs?
Answer:
 Certain colors effect specific issues:
  • Red and Infrared -- Absorbed by the skin, muscles, tissues, bone as
well as working at the physical cellular level.
  • Green -- An anti-inflammatory, working on painful joints and allergies.
  • Orange -- A rejuvenating color, stimulating and energizing.
  • Yellow -- A stimulant for the sensory and motor nervous system,
helping to raise low-energy states and improve the lymphatic system.
  • Blue -- A contractor and restrictor, helping with burns, headaches,
fevers, and providing a calming effect.
